Pharmacologic Therapy
Thiazide diuretics:
- Ok to continue if initiated before conception.
- Ok to use in modest heart failure
- They aggravate volume depletion and should be avoided in preeclampsia
- Would not initiate during pregnancy due to fears of volume depletion
