Dr. Saltiel is President of the Illinois Heart and Vascular Foundation. He is an Interventional Cardiologist. In addition to coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, he has special interest in acute coronary syndrome and myocardial infarction.

He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, and attended Medical School at Northwestern. His internship, residency, and cardiovascular fellowship were completed at Stanford University. Dr. Saltiel also performed additional interventional cardiology training at the Indiana Heart Institute.

In addition to his clinical practice , Dr Saltiel conducts numerous clinical research trials as part of the IHAV Foundation.
